Wade McGilberry is my new hero. Dude just won a baseball video game promotion by being the first person to pitch a perfect game on MLB 2K10. Prize? A million dollars. Not too shabby. Actually, it's more than quite a few MLB'ers will make this year. He's from New York, so let's only include the New York team.
Marcus Thames 900,000
Sergio Mitre 850,000
Joba Chamberlain 487,975
Brett Gardner 452,500
Phil Hughes 447,000
Alfredo Aceves 435,650
David Robertson 426,650
Ramiro Pena 412,100
Francisco Cervelli 410,800
Boone Logan 405,000*
There's another new York team not the Yankees? The Mets? What's a Met?
If only there was a prize for buying MLB2K9 and taking it back to the store within a week because the game sucked so bad. I would have won that last year.
